THE SHIRA ROUTE

Day 1

Transfer to Londrosi gate whereby will commence the hike to Simba camp for about 5hrs followed by dinner and overnight.


Day 2

Have b/fast then hike to Shira hut for about 4hrs followed by dinner and overnight.


Day 3

After b/fast will continue to Moir hut for about 4hrs for dinner and overnight.


Day 4

Early b/fast then hike to Lava Tower for about 6hrs for dinner and overnight.


Day 5

B/fast then resume the trek to Arrow Glacier for about 2hrs for dinner and overnight.


Day6

You wake up at 12:30am then have hot tea followed hike to the top via the rim crater then to Uhuru peak. After arriving Uhuru will have photos then descend down to Mweka hut for dinner and overnight.

 

Pricing Information

All prices include all park fees, salaries of guides/porters/cook, all meals on the mountain, equipment and transfer to/from Arusha or Moshi. Discounts can also be arranged for larger groups. Not included: tips and items of a personal nature.
