and Udzungwa Mts: 10 days 9 night lodge safaris
The supper
safari takes you to explore the whole 4 of the Tanzania
southern circuit wildlife protected areas for game viewing,
walking and boat excursion for 14 nights. It gives you
enough time at each site where you will spend 4 nights in
Selous Game Reserve, 3 nights in Ruaha national park, 3
nights in Mikumi National park and 3 nights in Udzungwa
Mountain national park exploring the areas where you will
see the rare SABLE and ROAN antelope as well as small and
large mammals including variety of reptiles and bird
species. Accommodation can be in lodge, luxury Tented camp
or budget camping sites as per your requirements booked on
full board arrangements FB. You will enjoy and experience
nature, wildlife on game drives, habit and habitat of the
fauna and flora in the natural areas.
Trip Plan:
Day 1: Dar – Selous Game Reserve
- In the morning at 0800hrs pick up from your hotel in Dar
or Dar es Salaam International Airport and travel to Selous
game Reserve with lunch box where you will arrive in the
late afternoon. Evening at leisure waiting for dinner and
overnight at Mbuyu safari Camp Rufiji River kemp Selous
Mbega kemp Selous safari kemp Sable mountain lodge OR Budget
Campsite FB
Day 2 – 3 & 4: Game drives Walking & Boat Excursion in
Selous
- Tour of the Selous Game Reserve. To do; walking trip in
the wilderness accompanied by an armed ranger guide to get
closer to the animals game drives and boat excursion on the
Rufiji River sporting large floating bodies of Hippos and or
Crocs short night game drives full day game drives and 1
night flying camping. You will have picnic lunch in the bush
or hot lunches in the Camp. Evenings as the Sun goes down
the drive will take you back to your accommodation for
dinner experience and overnight FB.
Day 5: Selous – Ruaha N.P
- After breakfast check out and with packed lunch launch
journey to Ruaha National Park where you will arrive in the
afternoon. Evening short game drives in the park or
relaxation at leisure in Ruaha River Lodge Jongomero Camp or
Campsite FB
Day 6 - 7: Game drives in Ruaha N.P
- Game, drives in Ruaha National Park, look for Roan and
Sable antelope, Hippo Crocodile, waterbuck, Reedbuck and
Buffalo venture to the rivers edge to drink, attracting the
attention of Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dog and jackal and
many more antelopes include Dik dik. Walking in the
wilderness includes a visit to one of the Africa’s most
important historical site ”The stone age ruins at Isimila”.
There are many birds in the park include Eurasia migrants
that Comes to visit the park twice a year. You will have all
meals and overnight in your accommodation. FB
Day 8: Ruaha – Mikumi N.P
-After breakfast, then check out from Selous and travel to
Mikumi National Park with packed lunch and game viewing on
the way. You will arrive in the early afternoon followed by
relaxation at leisure in Mikumi Wildlife lodge, Kikoboga
Camp, Vuma Hill Tented Camp, Fox’s Safari Camp or Campsite
and dinner and overnight. FB.
Day 9 - 10: Full day in Mikumi N.P
- Breakfast in your accommodation followed by both morning
and afternoon game drives in the park look for Elephant,
Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland
Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300
species of birds have been observed in this park. You will
have your lunch dinner and overnight in your accommodation
FB.
Day 11: Mikumi – Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
- Wake up at 0600hrs for early morning game drives in Mikumi
park followed by breakfast at 0845hrs in your accommodation,
after breakfast relax at leisure until lunch hours before
you travel to Udzungwa Mountains National park arriving in
the mid afternoon. Evening rest and relax at leisure waiting
for dinner and overnight in Tented Camp or Budget Campsite.

Day 12 -13: Wonderful Walking in Udzungwa Park
- Breakfast in your Camp then launch a walking morning and
afternoon in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the
stunning natural beauty of the park. Lunch in the bush then
proceed exploring the area wonderful waterfall endemic Red
Colobus Monkey and beautiful scenery, evening experience the
Sun Set before return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Udzungwa Mountains National Park – Dar
- After breakfast check out from the Camp and travel back to
Dar arrives in the early afternoon for lunch. Afternoon at
leisure in the hotel booked on half board basis. HB
Day 15: Dar – Return home
- This day at any time of your return flight you will be
picked and transferred to Dar airport.
